Self Assessment (SA) CME is exactly what it sounds like. It is a form of continuing medical education that is designed to help you reflect on your own strengths and weaknesses and analyze the areas of medicine in which you may need to improve. Our Self Assessment CME creates a fun, interactive learning environment while providing outrageous CME value! As of August 2016, the NCCPA made a rule change that stated Self Assessment CME and Performance Improvement CME are no longer a requirement for certified PAs. However, they added the following statement regarding Category 1 CME credit value:
“To encourage PAs to continue to pursue self-assessment activities, NCCPA will award 50% additional credit for all activities designated for self-assessment Category 1 CME credit (i.e., a self-assessment activity worth 10 credits will be converted to 15 credits by NCCPA). Also, the first 20 PI-CME credits logged during every two-year cycle will be doubled when logged with NCCPA.”
CME4LIFE currently offers two forms of Self Assessment CME, the Take Home Self Assessment Challenge and our 5 hr. CORE LIVE Workshops.
John Bielinski PA-C, Owner of CME4LIFE and 17 year Acute Care Veteran has been regarded as one of the top Acute Care practitioners in the country. He scored a 92% on our Acute Care Challenge SA CME. Think you can beat him? Take the challenge and let us know how you stack up against JB.View Take Home Challenge
The CME4LIFE LIVE learning experience just got better. Our CORE Live workshop is an action-packed, 5 hour workshop where your clinical decision making skills will be put to the test by interactive case study questions. We’ve incorporated Self Assessment CME to make this event worth 1.5x the approved AAPA credit value! PAs can earn up to 30 hours of AAPA Category 1 CME with the combination of our LIVE event and Take-Home Challenge.
Have fun while learning in an interactive workshop where you'll test your knowledge with one of our CORE Live Challenge topics: Cardiology, Orthopedic, or Acute Care*. Let's see how you match up with your fellow medical professionals!View Our CORE Workshops
