This Urgent Care 4-Day CME Conference presents the latest in medical innovations for emergency medicine professionals who must evaluate and treat acute, yet common, conditions. Suturing & Abscess Workshop

This is a two-hour basic suturing course design for those new to suturing and wound care. You will be given a suture kit that you can take home and practice after you learn the skills within this class.  This is a hands-on course with minimal lecture time.

Also, we will cover Abscess I&D.

Skills Learned:

• Wound assessment – should I?
• Anesthetics – how to do this almost painlessly.
• Prep/drape/sterile fields suggestions.

• Vertical mattress
• Horizontal mattress
